The Pancha-Tattva:
The term “Pancha-Tattva” literally means “five truths” or “five categories.” Gaudiya Vaishnavism refers to the five key figures who propagated the Hare Krishna movement in the 15th century. They are considered to be five aspects of the same Supreme Reality, Krishna:
Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu: Krishna Himself, appearing with the mood and complexion of Srimati Radharani. He is considered the most merciful incarnation.
Sri Nityananda Prabhu: The first expansion of Lord Krishna, serving as His elder brother Balarama. He embodies spiritual strength and mercy.
Sri Advaita Acharya: A combined incarnation of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. He prayed for the advent of Lord Chaitanya.
Sri Gadadhara Pandita: An incarnation of Srimati Radharani, representing the perfect devotee and the embodiment of devotional energy.
Sri Srivasa Thakura: The leading pure devotee of Lord Chaitanya, representing pure devotion (bhakti).
A 1.5-inch idol is ideal for a home altar, travel, or personal worship where space might be limited. It allows for a tangible representation of the Pancha-Tattva in a compact form.
Precious Material: Being made of 925 sterling silver signifies the idol’s preciousness and purity, fitting for the reverence of the deities.
